I’m thrilled to return as the lead presenter at the Education in Motion (EIN) Conference at Colorado State University this June 9th–12th, 2025! This four-day event will bring together CSU Dance faculty, regional educators, and guests for an immersive experience in exploring how movement can be integrated into all levels of learning. It’s a fantastic opportunity to engage with colleagues, share ideas, and deepen our practice in a vibrant, interactive setting.
During the conference, I’ll be leading sessions that cover a wide range of topics designed to enrich both teaching and learning. We’ll dive into movement fundamentals and explore creative lesson planning ideas, as well as social and emotional learning tools that can help foster a supportive classroom environment. I'll also introduce mindfulness practices that can benefit both students and teachers, while exploring the fascinating relationship between movement and the nervous system. Additionally, we’ll work with improvisational practices to inspire spontaneity and creativity, and discuss how to create inclusive, equitable, and culturally relevant learning environments where movement is central. I can’t wait to collaborate with all of you, share ideas, and discover new ways to bring movement into the heart of education!
